Information and Communication Behaviour 2010

Published on: 16.11.2010

Author: Ralf Welt, Barbara Gundelach Type: Dimap Study Topic: Media, Germany

Summary:

How do Germans inform themselves about politics? Which kind of media do they consume and for how long? How important is the Internet and how do users obtain the information they have searched for? Which topics are of interest? Is there a difference between men and women, different age groups or supporters of political parties?

In order to find answers to these questions, dimap communications -  in co-operation with the polling institute dimap - carried out a representative survey among 1.000 German voters. The interviews took place between 15-27 September 2010.

Further information concerning the survey can be found here.
